Laurine Tribolet

1995, Belgium

Laurine Tribolet is a Belgian, independent Brussels-based designer- typographer mainly involved in the broad fields of Art and Culture. She currently collaborates with Studio Otamendi (Brussels). She holds a bachelor’s degree at the ERG (Ecole de Recherche Graphique, Brussels) in the graphic design department.

Her practice revolves around printed and digital matter, from publications, websites, exhibition graphics and identity projects. Her approach is experimental and engaged, carrying with me feminist and ecological questions fed by the people I work with. My work is a work of accompaniment to carry projects and stories by taking care of a space which I believe will be able to take power to find its most authentic form possible. She specialises in art books and publishing. She collaborates with artists, graphic designers, textile designers, architects and various collectives such as Bye Bye Binary while ensuring that values of inclusivity and care are placed at the heart of my methodology. The process becomes as important as a collaboration because it aims to hybridise our practices to create a common ground to experiment. It allows her to navigate different practices like writing, publishing and curating.
