Five O’Clock Shadow

One-day exhibition

27.02.2019, 14:00–18:00

KASK School of Arts, Ghent

Five O’ Clock Shadow is a one-day exhibition, a curatorial experimentation that took place at KASK in the frame of a workshop ran by curator Zoë Gray and artist Koenraad Dedobbeleer as part of Curatorial Studies programme. A playful race against the clock, the exhibition was conceived, installed and opened at 5pm the same day. Sentences uttered during the process were included in the visitor’s booklet, designed by Peter Lemmens, highlighting the curatorial process as a space of collective negotiation and sometimes arbitrary decisions.
